About The Position

Grand View Lodge is looking for a detail-oriented, mechanically minded Pool Maintenance Associate to keep our aquatics areas operating at the highest standard. You'll be responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and overall condition of all pool and spa systems across the property; from water chemistry and filtration to equipment repair and compliance documentation. This is a role where your work directly impacts the guest experience every single day, and where a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence is non-negotiable. You'll work as part of our broader Facilities team, with a clear path to grow into a supervisor-level role for the right candidate. Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in pool operations, aquatics maintenance, grounds keeping, property management, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of water chemistry, pool and spa systems, and applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Mechanical aptitude with hands-on ability to troubleshoot and repair pumps, heaters, and related equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to high standards.
  • Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently when needed.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean record; occasional operation of company vehicles may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality or resort experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper pool and spa water chemistry in full compliance with Minnesota Department of Health regulations and Grand View Lodge standards.
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain filtration, circulation, and chemical treatment systems across all property aquatics areas.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on pools, hot tubs, and all related equipment to stay ahead of issues before they impact guests.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, heaters, valves, and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure all aquatics areas are clean, safe, and guest-ready at all times.
  • Maintain accurate logs and compliance documentation for both regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Partner with the broader Facilities team on property-wide general maintenance needs as required.
  • Respond promptly to service requests with a solutions-oriented, guest-first mindset.
  • Availability on weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
