About The Position
The Pool Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests in and around the pool and aquatic areas. This role involves monitoring the environment, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities. The position requires proficiency in swimming and the ability to perform CPR and first aid.
Requirements
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification/ CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to be certified
- Ability to swim proficiently
- CPR/AED and First Aid skills
- Teamwork skills
- Familiarity with American Red Cross protocols
Nice To Haves
- Experience in swim instruction or coaching.
- Previous lifeguarding experience in a recreational setting.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool and aquatic areas to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform CPR and first aid as needed in emergency situations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the aquatic facilities.
