About The Position

The Pool Housekeeper is responsible for monitoring inventory to ensure linens are stocked and available, maintaining the cleanliness of Pool locker rooms and public areas in a safe, clean, and attractive condition, and helping to maintain the flow of clean linens for the Pool. This role reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and the Pool Manager. The nature of hospitality housekeeping often requires working non-standard hours and days, including weekends and holidays. The schedule is a weekly rotating schedule with varying hours and assignments based on business needs.

Requirements

Ability to perform all housekeeping tasks at high quality.
Ability to communicate and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to stand entire 8 hours shifts not including breaks.
Ability to reach overhead and down low to reach all areas and surfaces while cleaning.
Ability to bend, kneel, twist and squat frequently.
Ability to push and pull up to 60 lbs. frequently.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Adequate physical agility to perform the cleaning and laundry duties in the GHS lower complex.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in housekeeping in the hospitality industry.
