About The Position
The City of O'Fallon is seeking an organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Seasonal Pool Cashier at Alligator's Creek Aquatic Center . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and fun environment while providing excellent customer service. As a Pool Cashier , you'll play a crucial role in providing great experiences for our visitors, handling a variety of tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will be working alongside a team that values positivity and efficiency, and you can expect a fun, fast-paced atmosphere. Our Pool Cashier's earn a starting pay of $15.25 an hour, typically working 10-25 hours per week.
Requirements
- Previous cash handling experience
- Proficient in computer use and data entry
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- A valid Missouri State driver's license
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as required
Responsibilities
- Greeting visitors and providing assistance both over the phone and in person
- Answering inquiries and providing information about pool programs and services
- Maintaining and updating records, including attendance, inventory, and financial transactions
- Registering program participants and handling related fees
- Performing cashier duties, operating the point-of-sale register, and processing payments
