Pool Cashier
About The Position
General Purpose: The Pool Cashier is responsible for collecting money for facility use and reconciling the wrist, pool passes, daily reports. Cashier are also accountable for opening and closing procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains and enforces pool safety. Explains and enforces basic pool rules to all patrons entering and exiting the facility. Provides information regarding facility use and hours of operation. Assists with conflict resolution and customer relations. Assists in general maintenance and clean-up of activities/facilities. Accountable for wrist band, swim passes report. Maintains property of the City of Copperas Cove pool facility. Submits reports to supervisor on accidents, damage to facilities and equipment, problems among staff, and complaints from facility users. Accepts fees and accounts for all fees received. Responds to questions and concerns in person and by telephone. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must possess good human relations skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to utilize organizational skills
- Must be able to work between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. including weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience running a cash register and/or handling cash preferred.
