Requirements
- High School diploma, or equivalent.
- Experience in a guest service role.
- Someone with an engaging and energetic personality
- Ability to work on feet for an extended period
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Someone who can lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs.
Responsibilities
- Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
- Work as a team to enhance the guests experience
- Maintain an active presence around the pool & beach area, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Ensure the safety of guests and hotel staff in the pool area by monitoring pool usage and ensuring all guests comply with posted safety rules and guidelines.
- Work closely with housekeeping to ensure towels are clean and readily available
- Check in arriving guests to the pool area, helping them to identify as hotel/resort guests and to find available area for them to set-up for the day
- Clean all areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.
- Set-up and break down the pool area to ensure a successful day
- Remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner.
- Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members.
- Immediately report any damage or incidents to the supervisor or the security department.
- Complete special projects as assigned by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
