About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the pool and beach areas are maintained to company and property standards. The attendant will proactively enhance the beach experience, welcome and assist residents with amenities, and monitor compliance with rules and regulations. They will also report any maintenance issues and work with the maintenance supervisor to maintain beach equipment. This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.

Requirements

Prior experience in a related position.
Experience at a luxury property or hotel is strongly preferred.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
The ability to work in a busy, luxury, and fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work well in a collaborative environment with various team members in other departments.
Must be able communicate effectively with other team members and guests.
Must convey a positive and “can-do” attitude at all times, including during high-stressful situations.
Ability to organize and prioritize.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

Ensure that the pool and beach areas are set up to company and property standards on a daily basis.
Be proactive in the ongoing enhancement of the beach.
Welcome and greet residents and their guests.
Assist residents with lounge covers, towels, and umbrellas.
Maintain a guest (resident) experience.
Ensure proper use of amenities such as water, cold towels, ice buckets, and sunscreen.
Monitor compliance of Association Rules and Regulations.
Report any malfunction or needed maintenance immediately to Supervisor.
Work with Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining beach equipment.
Remove dirty towels and trash.
Maintain and organize the pool area including the furniture.
Complete daily check list.
