About The Position

As a Pool Bartender, you will play a vital role in creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for guests by providing exceptional beverage service in a poolside environment. Your primary focus will be to prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming bar area. You will engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Additionally, you will be responsible for adhering to all safety and hygiene standards, including responsible alcohol service and compliance with local regulations. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to a vibrant and relaxing atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive guest feedback.

Requirements

• Legal age to serve alcohol in the United States.
• Previous experience as a bartender or in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or poolside setting.
• Basic knowledge of drink recipes and bartending techniques.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in an outdoor environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local and state alcohol laws and regulations.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks, according to established recipes and guest preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste properly.
• Engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when appropriate.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service and compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with pool and hospitality staff to ensure seamless service and address any guest concerns promptly.
