Pool Attendant - Apartments at North Park
About The Position
We are hiring for a pool attendant for Apartments at North Park. As the Pool Attendant, your responsibilities will include testing and balancing pool chemicals, documenting as required by state and local regulations, cleaning and vacuuming the pool, cleaning skimmer baskets, backwashing pool filters, and skimming the pool with a skimmer as needed. You will also monitor residents entering and exiting the pool area, ensure the state capacity is not exceeded, and ensure all posted pool rules are being adhered to. Additionally, you will ensure safety equipment is present and in working order, check the first aid kit for needed supplies on a daily basis, clean and maintain the pool bathroom daily, including keeping them stocked with supplies and free of standing water, sweep the pool deck and all surrounding areas daily, and straighten pool furniture regularly, ensuring that furniture is clean and in working order at all times. You will report any non-working or damaged furniture to the Community Manager or immediate supervisor, garden and remove weeds in commons areas as needed, and perform other duties as assigned. You will also clean the clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed.
Requirements
- High School or GED (Preferred)
- A work permit or are 18 years of age or older
- Ability to endure seasonal temperatures
- Flexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Good verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and internet
