Pool Attendant
About The Position
The Pool Attendant is responsible for setting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture, ensuring that the swimming pool, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe. This role involves welcoming guests, ensuring their safety and comfort, and providing them with towels and shade while attending to their requests. The attendant will also clear used towels, glasses, and trash, enforce safety protocols, monitor guest activity, and report any damages or incidences to the supervisor. Additionally, the position requires managing the swimming pool cleaning schedule and performing daily inspections.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the dining area for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays, food, and beverage orders (up to 25 pounds).
- Ability to bend, squat, and reach in order to serve guests and retrieve items from shelves or storage areas.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment with high noise levels.
- Good physical stamina and mobility to efficiently serve a high volume of customers throughout shifts.
