About The Position

The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming pool and recreation area while delivering exceptional guest service. This role supports daily pool operations, monitors guest activities, enforces facility rules, and assists with recreational programs and activities to ensure a positive guest experience.

Requirements

Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsible, dependable, and attentive to safety.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Must be comfortable working in and around swimming pools and water environments.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and direct sunlight.
Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service, recreation, or pool operations experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests and responding to questions, concerns, and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the pool, deck, and recreation areas.
Monitor pool operations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Enforce pool and recreation facility rules, policies, and safety procedures.
Observe guest activities and promptly report any safety concerns, incidents, or maintenance issues to management.
Set up, coordinate, and facilitate daily recreational activities and special events as assigned.
Assist with opening and closing procedures for the pool and recreation areas.
Maintain adequate supplies and equipment necessary for daily operations.
Work collaboratively with other departments to support guest satisfaction and resort operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
