We proudly offer three championship golf courses, available for play nearly every day of the year, along with award-winning practice facilities both indoors and outdoors. Our sports and leisure complex boasts impressive state-of-the-art aquatic facilities enjoyed by individuals of all ages, as well as tennis, paddle sports, fitness options, and The Cove, a mini club designed for children. The Pool Ambassador is the face of the aquatics experience at Fiddler’s Elbow. Their primary goal is to foster meaningful connections and ensure every member feels recognized and delighted. They will act as a concierge on the pool deck, anticipating needs before they are voiced and creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere for our members. The Pool Ambassador is the primary liaison between members, club leadership, and our third-party pool management firm; they will ensure a premier, "hospitality-first" environment that aligns with our mission of delivering "WOW" moments. This role requires weekends and holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), as these are the busiest times for this position. This is a Seasonal position running from May 2026- September 2026.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent isrequired.
  • Minimum of2–3yearsaquaticsfacility operationspreferred.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and following club-specific dress code traditions.
  • A proven ability to provide "concierge-level" service, including the ability to remember member names andanticipateneeds.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the visible “face” of the Aquatics Center, delivering a high-touch, personalized service experience from arrival to departure.
  • Proactively engage with members to build relationships,identifyopportunities for service improvement, and resolve concerns on the spot.
  • Lead and inspire all staff—including third-party lifeguards and instructors—to adopt the “Fiddler’s Family” culture, transforming standard safety roles into hospitality-driven positions.
  • Collaborate on the planning and execution of poolside events, holiday programming, and swim lesson schedules to drive member engagement.
  • Act as the primary liaison for the external pool management company, ensuring daily staffing levels and maintenance standards are strictly met.
  • Conduct frequent facility walkthroughs to ensure the pool, deck, locker rooms, and "The Cove" remain in pristine, “member-ready” condition.
  • Monitor water chemistry and general pool upkeep, holding vendors accountable toestablishedexcellence standards andanticipatingchallenges before they escalate.
  • Serve as the onsite Safety Officer, providing leadership and coordination during all aquatic-related emergencies.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with New Jersey State Health Codes by auditing and documenting all staff certifications (Lifeguard, CPR/AED).
  • Maintain open, transparent communication with the pool management company to ensure seamless safety operations andtimelyresolution of mechanical or personnel issues.
