About The Position

The Pond Technician is responsible for full systems testing with a strong emphasis on electrical validation, engine programming, and leak testing. This is a technical quality role focused on catching functional issues early, partnering with production to eliminate root causes, and ensuring that every boat enters final inspection with solid, reliable systems.

Requirements

  • Strong electrical or mechanical aptitude; experience in marine, automotive, aviation, or powersports environments is a plus.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills and a root‑cause mindset — you don’t just report issues, you help solve them.
  • High attention to detail and ownership of product quality.
  • Clear, direct communication and the ability to work across multiple teams.
  • A commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Pass a background check, drug test and physical
  • Ability to work overtime as requested
  • Willingness to work on a team or individually
  • Able to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processes
  • Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area. (Use safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.)
  • Must follow company safety guidelines
  • Must be fluent in the English language

Responsibilities

  • Validate all electrical components for full functionality: lighting, breakers, battery systems, electronics, generators, alternators, helm controls, and integrated technologies.
  • Program engines and confirm proper communication with onboard systems.
  • Perform leak tests and verify plumbing, steering, and hydraulic systems meet performance standards.
  • Document defects, communicate findings clearly, and partner with assembly, engineering, and quality to drive permanent corrective actions.
  • Ensure each boat enters final fit‑and‑finish inspection with all systems functioning as expected.
