About The Position

Test all systems, including running engines and final inspection boats while being a team facilitator for rework.

Requirements

• Must have customer in mind
• Needs to be aware of all aspects of boat assembly in the manufacturing process
• Mechanical background
• Flexibility with regard to overtime to meet schedule/ship commitments
• Able to interact positively with suppliers while keeping customer and quality as a top priority
• Pass a background check, drug test and physical
• Ability to work overtime as requested
• Promote a safe and clean work environment
• Willingness to work on a team or individually
• Able to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processes
• Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area. (Use safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.)
• Must follow company safety guidelines
• Must be fluent in the English language

Responsibilities

• Testing electrical systems including generators, alternators and other electrical hookups
• Running engines
• Checking steering and hydraulic system
• Meeting schedule
• Acting as team facilitator for rework
