Join the serene and nature-inspired Tree Spa at Hidden Pond in Kennebunkport, Maine as a Spa Receptionist and become the welcoming face of an unforgettable guest experience. In this role, you’ll warmly greet guests, manage bookings, and help create a seamless, relaxing journey from arrival to departure. We’re seeking a friendly, organized, and service-driven individual who thrives in a peaceful yet dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the spa at all times though professional appearance and interactions. It is expected that attire/appearance is work appropriate and attractive/presentable at all times in order to best represent the image of the company and provide a positive first impression for guests.
  • Building and maintain relationships with clients by warmly interacting with them while they await services.
  • Provide tips on available products for sale in the spa.
  • Keep a record of business transactions be registering new clients, receiving payment, reconciling daily, coordinate services, and issue invoices.
  • Have a vast knowledge of products and services offered by the spa with ability to answer questions and provide accurate information for new clients seeking the best treatments for their needs.
  • Seek feedback from guests after services are performed. Relay feedback to the Spa Manager as needed.
  • Provide guidance to clients on the procedures at the spa
  • Answer telephone calls and provide accurate information to clients
  • Keep the reception area clean and conducive for clients as they wait for their turn to be attended too
  • Introduce new beauty products to clients and educate them on their uses and benefits
  • Keep clients updated on currently available promotions and discounts in services offered in the Spa
  • Process payments from clients for services ordered from the spa
  • Keep register of long and existing clients for them to enjoy benefits given to loyal customers
  • Give appointments to clients on specific days
  • Open and close the spa at the appropriate time
  • Ensure that the front desk is clean and organized for free movement
  • Assist in getting client feedback on level of services delivered in order to improve on service delivery
  • Inform staff members of appointments that have been canceled by clients, and also alert staff members of the arrival of clients who come without prior appointments
  • Assist in developing promotional events, which focus on increasing the clientele of the spa
  • Manage the visitor register to keep record of people who visit the spa on a daily basis
  • Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions.
  • Understand and practice all safety and security procedures, including Evacuation Procedures, Accident Reporting, Right to Know Law, Bloodborne Pathogen Procedures, Anti-Harassment, and Anti-Violence Policies.
  • Communicate with managers and staff in a positive, efficient, and friendly manner.
  • Demonstrate a team-focused attitude and encourage collaboration.
