About The Position

Penrose-St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St Francis Hospital - Interquest. St. Francis Hospital opened in 2008 to keep pace with the growing needs of the Colorado Springs' community on the north side of the city. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of patient care/medical experience
• Current BLS certification required from American Heart Association
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) Credential from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) upon hire or within 2 years

Responsibilities

• Perform specialty diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to sleep disorders.
• Perform diagnostic polysomnography, Split Night testing, CPAP, Bi-Level, Auto-Servo Ventilation (ASV), Oxygen titrations, and End Tidal CO2 monitoring.
• Work independently as a resource person in the area of sleep disorders.
• Provide individualized customer service to patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Assist with Quality Improvement.
