Polysomnography Technologist - Chicago, IL (One night per week)
About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking Polysomnography Technologists in Chicago, Illinois, to support an overnight clinical-trial sleep study. The study is expected to start in December and run for approximately four months. The schedule is one night per week, from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Pay is $35–$40 per hour, based on experience. The IMA Group’s Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies with medical and psychological examinations and ancillary services. Its Payer Services Division provides evaluation and screening services to carriers, TPAs, public entities, and employers, including behavioral health and physical medicine specialty services. Its Clinical Research Division conducts Phase II–IV clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas through a nationwide network of site locations and virtual capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfort working independently overnight.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in sleep studies is preferred; both new and seasoned technologists are welcome.
- RPSGT certification is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 8-hour PSG, MWT, or MSLT studies according to protocol and central reader instructions.
- Perform study hookups, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Perform live scoring when required; most studies do not require it.
