A sleep (polysomnographic) technologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in-center and home sleep apnea testing (HSAT), diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and comprehensive patient care. Provides sleep related education and support to patients and families. A sleep technologist is able to perform the duties defined for a sleep technician and is able to provide general oversight of other sleep center staff. The sleep technologist is credentialed in sleep technology (RPSGT or RST).
