Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic, and therapeutic services or patient education.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Non Degree Program Polysomnography Technology Required
- Basic Life Support Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Preferred
- 1 year experience in a Sleep Disorders setting Preferred
- PA Respiratory Care License Preferred
- Reg Polysom Preferred
- Reg Respiratory Therapist Preferred
Responsibilities
- Sets up and calibrates all polysomnographic recordings and monitoring equipment.
- Applies sensors to patients, and initiates sleep recordings.
- Summarizes data from polysomnographic recordings, and provides routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Produces high quality polysomnographic recordings.
- Performs transcutaneous pCO2.
