About The Position

Registered Polysomnographic Technologists are responsible for performing and monitoring diagnostic testing following AASM guidelines under the direction of the Medical Director, Polysomnography Coordinator, Supervisor, Manager, or Lead Technologist. This includes all aspects of sleep disorders testing, including patient hook-up, equipment interfacing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and scoring. This includes Polysomnography, Polysomnography with therapeutic intervention, screening studies, multiple sleep latency tests (MSLT or MWT), patient follow-up and education. Requirements

• Associate's Degree
• Completion of a polysomnography or sleep disorders technology program or science related field.
• Upon hire: National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
• Upon hire: National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Work in an AASM accredited Sleep Center, performing testing and PAP titrations.

Responsibilities

• Performing and monitoring diagnostic testing following AASM guidelines under the direction of the Medical Director, Polysomnography Coordinator, Supervisor, Manager, or Lead Technologist.
• Patient hook-up, equipment interfacing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and scoring.
• Performing Polysomnography, Polysomnography with therapeutic intervention, screening studies, multiple sleep latency tests (MSLT or MWT).
• Patient follow-up and education.
