About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join a Sleep Lab team providing both inpatient and outpatient sleep study services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and experience performing and scoring sleep studies in a hospital-based environment.
Requirements
- RPSGT Certification
- Associate Degree in a related field
- Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association) prior to start
- Prior Sleep Lab experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Additional certifications and professional affiliations preferred
- Candidates with less than 1 year of experience may be considered
Responsibilities
- Perform and score sleep studies for inpatient hospital patients
- Set up and download home sleep studies for outpatient services
- Monitor patients throughout overnight sleep testing procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient data and study results
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and compliance during procedures
- Operate and maintain sleep lab equipment according to facility protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnostic care
