As our Polysomnography Technologist at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will help patients complete safe and effective overnight sleep and EEG studies so providers can obtain accurate diagnostic information to support patient care. Every day you will prepare patients for sleep studies, apply and monitor recording equipment, perform overnight polysomnograms and/or EEGs, and respond appropriately to patient needs and safety concerns. You will be expected to recognize and report relevant physiological findings, communicate pertinent information to the physician, and complete testing and documentation according to established protocols and professional standards. To be successful in this role, you must have strong attention to detail, the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, and the ability to follow established testing procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
