About The Position

The poly fiber coordinator ensures that all poly parts, throw pillows, and heat pads are available, accounted for, staged, and ready for processing when needed for production.

Requirements

Ability to use CRT, bill of materials, and schedule to determine part quantities
Ability to count parts accurately and track them
Ability to follow up on parts availability
Ability to load and stage parts
Ability to insert heat pads manually
Ability to staple law labels
Ability to separate parts or products by color, order number, or acknowledgment number
Ability to wand packing tickets into the computer system
Ability to key required information into the computer system
Ability to inspect raw materials for quality standards
Ability to correct substandard or off-quality work
Ability to maintain skills for 100% efficiency
Ability to promote goodwill and a positive company image
Ability to maintain a clean workspace

Responsibilities

Using CRT, bill of materials, and schedule, determine the quantity of each part needed for each production number
Ensure accurate quantity by counting the parts needed for each production number and track them to avoid duplication
Follow-up on parts that are not available in the department to confirm that they will be available when needed
Load and stage parts by upholstery line
Insert heat pads into products manually
Staple law labels to products
Separate parts or products by color, order number, or acknowledgment number
Wand packing tickets into the computer system
Key required information into the computer system
Inspect raw materials prior to performing operations to ensure proper quality standards and alert the supervisor to any substandard raw materials or prior operations
Poly parts coordinators are required to correct any substandard, off-quality work that they produce
Maintain necessary skills to achieve 100% efficiency
Promote goodwill and a positive company image to fellow employees and the community
Maintain a clean workspace
Perform other duties as required by the supervisor
