Part-Time Political Field Organizer

Maine Conservation VotersOxford County, ME
Hybrid

About The Position

Maine Conservation Voters Action Fund (MCVAF) is hiring temporary field organizers to help elect pro-conservation candidates up and down the ballot as part of MCVAF's election program. Field organizers will represent MCVAF and will talk directly with voters through door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, texting, and other outreach. They will also recruit and support volunteers, help lead canvasses and phone banks, and collect stories from Mainers about why they support pro-environment, conservation, and democracy candidates. Positions can range from 20–40 hours per week from hire date through the November general election and will include evening and weekend work. Every conversation you have on the doors or the phones could be the one that turns out a voter for clean water, climate action, and a healthier Maine — this is hands-on, high-impact work at a critical moment.
