About The Position

Mark Kelly for Senate is the campaign organization for Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona. Re-elected to a six-year term in 2022 after a ground-breaking win in the 2020 special election, Senator Kelly is a proven leader in the Senate and an independent voice for Arizonans. Mark Kelly for Senate is continuing to build its team by hiring a full-time Political Associate to support the campaign’s political operations. This role will work closely with our political team in supporting the campaign’s political programs. They will assist with stakeholder tracking and engagement, event support, political research, briefing memos, and other political programming as needed.   • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects at the same time
  • Ability to obtain reliable transportation to complete the job duties as outlined above

Responsibilities

  • Support the political team in building and maintaining relationships with elected officials, candidates, organizations, and community leaders.
  • Maintain tracking and communication systems for supporters, stakeholders, endorsements, and other political relationships.
  • Support the candidate's political schedule; draft and prepare materials for meetings and events.
  • Monitor political news and developments relevant to the campaign.
  • Support the campaign's endorsement process, including scheduling, tracking materials, and announcements.
  • Help coordinate and staff campaign events, meetings, rallies, and other political engagements.
  • Coordinate with surrogates, validators, and other campaign participants as needed.
  • Conduct research on candidates, elected officials, organizations, and key constituencies.
  • Support other political programs as needed.
