About The Position

The Polisher at Joia Beach Club is responsible for providing service to ensure client satisfaction. This role involves receiving, storing, and maintaining front-of-house restaurant supplies, stocking service stations, and ensuring all glasses and silverware are polished for use in the dining room. The position also includes folding napkins, making extra place settings, and potentially taking inventory of stock.

Requirements

• Ability to polish all glasses and silverware.

• Ability to stock shelves, racks, tables and service stations.
• Ability to receive, store, and maintain restaurant supplies.
• Ability to take inventory or examine merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and maintain front of the house restaurant supplies.
• Stock shelves, racks, tables and service stations with necessary supplies for service.
• Polish all glasses and silverware to be used in the dining room.
• Fold napkins and make extra place settings.
• Periodically take physical count of stock or check and mark stock.
• Restock dining room with china, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments and linen.
• Maintain adequate supplies in the work stations when dining room is open.
• Examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
