About The Position

Assists in the finishing of parts after they have been painted. This role involves demasking finished parts, inspecting them for damage, and performing finishing tasks using specified products like wax, compound, or polish. The technician will also maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in paint and body repair.
• High School or GED equivalent required.
• Self-starter with proficiency in budgeting time.
• Must possess basic hand tools for the position and upgrade as required.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate from an accredited technical or an industrial trade school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demask finished parts and inspect for damage.
• Perform finishing of parts after painting using specified products (wax, compound, polish).
• Finish surfaces by polishing with sandpaper, pumice, compound, wax, or other materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of spray booth.
• Position articles in jigs or erect ladders or scaffolding.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or approved by the Paint Manager.
