About The Position

The Policy Specialist - Dialer helps clients complete the final steps of the insurance process so they can secure and activate coverage. The role involves making outbound calls, supporting clients as they complete coverage requirements, troubleshooting policy delivery and activation issues, and resolving obstacles or complaints. It also offers opportunities to work with reporting, call lists, and dialer administration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
• Critical-thinking ability and excellent analytical skills.
• Inbound or outbound call center and customer service experience in roles requiring persuasion.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• One year of experience in the insurance industry.
• Three years of customer service experience in an office setting.
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-oriented environment.
• Reliability, adaptability, and compassion.
• Ability to work from home.

Nice To Haves

• Sales experience in insurance or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Use Excel reports to create and schedule daily call lists.
• Make upwards of 150 outbound calls per day using an automatic dialing system.
• Assist clients with completing requirements needed to activate coverage.
• Troubleshoot policy delivery and activation issues.
• Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and team members to help clients accept their policies and resolve complaints.
• Audit carrier websites for incomplete, active, and pending files.
• Provide customer service through empathy, guidance, education, and expectation-setting.
• Follow up on CSR reports, including phone calls and email correspondence with carriers and clients.
