About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, results oriented Policy and Strategy Analyst to join our team in the McLean, Virginia area. This role involves conducting research, analysis, and production of finished intelligence on various computer systems and databases to support ODNI's CI, Insider Threat and Security programs. A primary focus will be supporting the internal CIS vetting process. The analyst will actively maintain knowledge of current trends, issues, policies, and vulnerabilities of evolving technologies that pose potential CI, InTh, or Security concerns. This knowledge will be used to produce finished materials for the ODNI workforce based on needs assessments by the corporate CIS staff. The role also includes producing assessments on Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE) operations, foreign denial and deception, information operations, counterespionage, economic/industrial espionage, technology protection, illicit technology transfer, investigations support, SCRM, support to research development and acquisition, and critical asset protection. Additionally, the analyst will produce assessments of current threats and trends based on high-level collection, research, and analysis of classified and open-source information, and inform the corporate CI staff of trends with potential CI and insider threat implications for the ODNI. As directed, the analyst will support and complete other ad hoc responsibilities within the scope of Stormbreaker PWS to assist the CIS program office with meeting its mission, goals, and obligations.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
  • Typically requires a BA degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with IC policies and authorities.
  • Experience in cybersecurity responsibility areas listed above.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough, and accurate.
  • Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities.
  • Experience partnering across the IC

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, analysis, and production of finished intelligence on a variety of different computer systems and databases to support ODNI's CI, Insider Threat and Security programs, primary support will be provided to the internal CIS vetting process.
  • Actively maintain knowledge of current trends, issues, policies, vulnerabilities of current evolving Technologies that create a potential CI, InTh, or Security concern; use this knowledge to regularly produce finished materials for ODNI workforce, based on a needs assessment by the corporate CIS staff.
