About The Position

Necco has an opportunity for a career as Policy and Compliance Specialist. This role administers the company-wide policy governance process and supports compliance by coordinating the development, review, approval, publication, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of policies, forms, and protocols. This role will ensure documents are clear, consistent, current, accessible, and supported by reliable records, workflows, and reporting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, healthcare administration, business, compliance, or a related field
  • Ability to learn and utilize company software/systems; including EHR and EFM systems
  • Five years of experience in compliance, operational and/or risk management to include leadership
  • Ability to translate regulatory, contractual, and accreditation requirements into business processes and company policies
  • Keen ability to apply technology to business processes
  • Self-Directed
  • Strong track record of demonstrating a high level of engagement and awareness of activities across all business divisions/departments
  • Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly through oral and written word
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Valid driver’s license and state minimum auto insurance
  • Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
  • Travel/Training Willingness

Responsibilities

  • Draft, revise, and maintain clear and consistent policies, forms, and protocols
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all regulatory requirements for programs, services, and personnel
  • Standardize policy, templates, language, formatting, review practices, and documentation requirements
  • Partner with departments and business lines to support the development, review, implementation and maintenance policies, forms, and protocols that fall within their respective areas of expertise
  • Create and maintain a communication strategy for policies and ensure employees are aware of policy changes and updates
  • Facilitate policy, form, and protocol-related workshops to ensure understanding and compliance
  • Provide guidance on policy and regulatory related inquiries
  • Assess risks associated with all company policies, forms, and protocols and develop strategies to improve compliance
  • Support continuous improvement of company policies, forms, and protocols based on operational needs, regulatory changes, and compliance findings
  • Communicate regulatory and policy changes affecting company services
  • Implement and maintain systems to monitor policy adherence
  • Maintain a comprehensive repository and ensure easy accessibility of policies, forms, and protocols
  • Utilize EFM and EHR data and insights to identify trends, compliance concerns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure policy effectiveness
  • Collaborate to identify technology solutions that support policy management, data tracking, reporting, and accessibility
