This is an internal promotional examination for the position of Police Sergeant I. Eligible applicants must file a promotional application online by the application deadline. The examination is open to all police officers with a minimum of five (5) years of full-time law enforcement experience, with the last two (2) years being continuous service with the Tyler Police Department.
