Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with handcuffs, pepper spray, and a baton is preferred.
  • Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
  • Baton Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and adherence to site access procedures.
  • Document incidents, observations, and completed activities accurately in accordance with site-specific requirements.
