About The Position

The Broken Arrow Police Department is seeking to increase its number of C.L.E.E.T. certified police reserve officers. Applicants will undergo a multi-step hiring process similar to that for full-time officers, including a physical agility/obstacle course, written exam, panel interview, chief interview, background investigation, polygraph examination, and standardized law enforcement psychological testing (MMPI). Appointees will be issued uniforms, firearms, and other duty equipment. Successful candidates will complete a training regime with a Field Training Officer before being eligible for assignment. The Broken Arrow Police Reserves perform a wide variety of duties for the City of Broken Arrow and the Broken Arrow Police Department, which serves a community of 120,000 people in Tulsa County and Wagoner County.

Requirements

  • C.L.E.E.T. certification
  • Pass a physical agility/obstacle course
  • Pass a written exam
  • Pass a panel interview
  • Pass a Chief interview
  • Pass a background investigation
  • Pass a polygraph examination
  • Pass standardized law enforcement psychological testing (MMPI)
  • Complete a training regime with a Field Training Officer
  • Pass a drug/physical screening
