About The Position
The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Police Officers in the Police Department. Under the direct supervision of a Lieutenant, the incumbent performs day-to-day enforcement of municipal, state, and federal laws. This includes making arrests, working accidents, testifying in court, preliminary investigations, and enforcing traffic regulations within a designated area on an assigned shift.
Requirements
- Completed City of Midwest City employment application
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age
- Possess and maintain C.L.E.E.T. certification
- Possess a valid Oklahoma driver license and be insurable
- Meet medical requirements set forth by the Oklahoma Police Pension & Retirement System
- Subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening
