About The Position
The Cleveland Heights PD is accepting applications for lateral transfer. The process includes an oral interview, background investigation, voice stress analysis, psychological evaluation, and medical evaluation (including drug screen). No written or physical agility test will be administered. Applicants must meet all minimum qualifications.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age and no more than 40 years of age at the time of applying
- Must be a US or naturalized citizen
- Possess valid and current OPOTA certification
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- At least one year as full-time civil service police officer with no more than one year of separation of employment
- Must pass the Ohio Police and Fire Pension medical examination

- Salary based on experience: $82,013.77-$93,051.48 (top rate for 2 years experience)
