About The Position

To perform investigation and collection of evidence in criminal cases and to present the information obtained for review and filing of charges; to respond to major or complicated crime scenes; and to work with other detectives, investigators from other jurisdictions, public and private attorneys, patrol officers on scene, witnesses, suspects, and victims.

Requirements

• Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
• Two years of responsible police experience.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Arizona driver's license within two months of hire.
• Possession of a Peace Officer certification.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, Arizona Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS) Level B certification.

• AZ POST Preferred.
