About The Position
The Police Cadet position is an entry-level role within the police department. The successful candidate will undergo rigorous training and evaluation to become a certified peace officer.
Requirements
- Completion of the City of Alice online application.
- Completion of the TCOLE packet.
- Passing the Civil Service Exam with a score of 70 or higher.
- Passing an APD background investigation.
- Signing a two (2) year employment commitment.
- Successful completion of the Police Academy.
- Successful completion of the Texas State Basic Peace Officer Exam.
