The Poker Supervisor is responsible for the accountability of chips, cards, and all gaming equipment for each designated area by maintaining a proper log. This role involves observing and reporting any violations of company policies and procedures to Poker Management staff. The supervisor will monitor, witness, and verify all table fills/credit requests, as well as cash and chip transactions between dealers and patrons to ensure the highest integrity. They will also monitor unusual activity between Poker Personnel and patrons for collusion and relay this information to management. Additionally, the supervisor will communicate suspicious play and activity of patrons defrauding DCR promptly, assist in identifying and notifying individuals causing disturbances, and attend all games protection, education, and other company-directed training as deemed necessary by management. A key aspect of this role is providing exceptional customer service, communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner, and maintaining a professional work environment. The position requires meeting attendance guidelines, adhering to policies, and attending necessary training meetings. The supervisor will also assist in other projects as directed. Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations are subject to change. Hours are determined by a daily/weekly schedule. The supervisor must always act as a role model and present themselves as a credit to Downstream Casino Resort and the Poker Department.
