About The Position
Under the supervision of the Director of Educational Development, this part-time, in-person role involves planning and facilitating an after-school Pokemon TCG club for elementary, middle, and/or high school students. The teacher will meet regularly with the Director, plan and facilitate instructional sessions, help students research and develop strategies, tailor sessions to student interests, and model appropriate academic and social behaviors. The role also includes performing other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Ability to work with students of diverse ethnic backgrounds, academic profiles, and skill levels.
- Possess good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Must demonstrate responsibility, a desire to help others, discretion, and flexibility.
- Knowledge of Pokemon TCG rules, mechanics, meta, and applicable engagement tools.
- Application of such knowledge and tools to help students access material.
- Ability to collect and analyze data to drive future instruction.
- Ability to work independently applying critical thinking skills and problem solving to various situations.
- Must possess extensive knowledge of Pokemon TCG.
Responsibilities
