About The Position

The Point of Care Testing Specialist provides oversight for all point-of-care and waived testing performed by Northside personnel outside of the Laboratory Departments.

Requirements

• State-recognized certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from an acceptable agency: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS (HEW).
• At least one year of clinical laboratory experience.
• Must submit to and pass a Color-Acuity screening Test.
• Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.
