Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Qualified Phlebotomist
• Phlebotomy Certification (ASCP, AMT, NHA, NPA)
• MLT Certification (ASCP, AMT)
• Point of Care Specialist Certificate (must be obtained within 3 months of starting) (ADLM)
• Some medical/science background preferred
• 5 years Experience
• Experience preferred in one or more of the following: Point of Care testing, Clinical Laboratory, Phlebotomy
• Basic knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to assess skill level
• Ability to work in a team
• Must be able to work independently and be well organized
• Must have the initiative to learn, show interest and be self- motivated

Nice To Haves

• Associate/ bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field from an accredited university preferred

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all point of care testing and clinical support within all Duly locations.
• Training all new clinical staff that perform point of care testing, including weekly training sessions at a central location and potentially onsite training.
• Assisting in running annual competency sessions for trained clinical staff (up to 60 sessions at a central location and at clinical sites).
• Providing training as needed for new sites.
• Performing routine site visits to ensure regulatory requirements are fulfilled (checking QC logs, reagent labeling, manufacturer inserts availability).
• Conducting on-demand site visits to troubleshoot issues.
• Building relationships with Clinical Managers, Supervisors, and staff.
• Assisting clinical and laboratory staff with test code and specimen questions.
• Resolving specimen problems.
• Assisting with setting up new accounts or submitting changes to accounts.
• Assisting with courier schedules and issues, lockbox replacement, and courier logs.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.
