About The Position
We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Podiatrist to join our team. As a Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities. Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
- DEA License
- Long-term care experience
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
Responsibilities
- Performed examinations on patients’ legs and feet to identify and diagnose various diseases and conditions.
- Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
- Recommend and prescribe medication for relieving joint pain and suggest foot orthoses to enhance mobility and alleviate discomfort.
- Offer guidance and advice to patients regarding foot care and overall wellness practices.
- Request additional medical tests as necessary based on the initial assessments.
