About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network in central New York is seeking a General Podiatrist to join their staff. This position is within an established group of 2 General Podiatrists and 4 Podiatric Surgeons, practicing within an integrated system that delivers care across an 8-county region. The network is a progressive academic health system and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. The role involves a call expectation of one week every 5th week, with the option to perform limb salvage cases and take limb salvage call. No elective cases are performed. The practice is associated with a 180-bed Primary Hospital with a Level III Trauma Center and benefits from an instant referral base provided by over 300 Primary Care Clinicians. There is an opportunity for procedure room privileges.

Requirements

• DPM
• BC/BE
• Completion of an accredited USA Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency
• New York State Licensure
• BLS Certification Required

Responsibilities

• Perform nonsurgical podiatric care.
• Participate in a call rotation of one week every 5th week.
• Option to perform limb salvage cases and take limb salvage call.
• Provide care within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system.
• Potentially obtain procedure room privileges.
