About The Position

POD Health is expanding and introducing Podiatry as its newest service line. They are seeking a motivated Podiatrist for a dynamic hybrid role that includes home visits, clinic visits, event-based care, and telehealth consultations. The role offers flexibility, with options for full-time or part-time (2-3 days per week) employment, allowing for tailored schedules. This is an opportunity to join a growing organization, play a key role in delivering patient-centered care, and help shape the podiatry experience. POD Health focuses on improving patient outcomes through technology and personalized, accessible care, integrating services like Telehealth, Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), Chronic Care Management (CCM), and Behavioral Health Initiatives (BHI) to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Requirements

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) with at least 1+ years of experience.
Active New York podiatry license (additional tri-state licenses a plus).
Comfortable with telemedicine, mobile care, and multi-site practice.
Strong communicator with excellent patient rapport.
Interested in flexible scheduling and a dynamic care environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct home visits for patients requiring in-person podiatric care.
See patients at POD Health locations across the tri-state area.
Attend community events, corporate wellness days, and pop-up clinics to provide on-site podiatry services.
Perform virtual consultations, new-patient evaluations, and telehealth follow-up visits.
Document all encounters in the EMR.
Provide treatment plans, prescriptions, and referrals as needed.
Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to support high-quality patient care.
