About The Position

Fox News Audio is seeking a Podcast Coordinator to join the fast-paced, growing FOX News Podcast Network. The coordinator supports Podcast Producers in planning, booking, gathering sound, and producing daily and weekly podcasts. The role also creates social media posts and website write-ups to promote podcast content.

Requirements

Experience editing all-news radio or producing podcast programming.
Highly skilled in writing and copy editing.
Strong digital journalism skills and social media experience.
Ability to make sound decisions during breaking news and routine shifts.
Ability to interact with high-profile talent.
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to collaborate with the team.
Creative, out-of-the-box thinking.
Avid news consumer with prior journalism experience, preferably in an audio newsroom.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts in a 24/7 news operation, including nights, overnights, weekends, and early mornings.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of iNews, ENCO, and Adobe Audition (Cool-Edit).

Responsibilities

Coordinate programming and platform placement across the FOX News podcast portfolio.
Assist with producing podcast segments and coordinate reporters, talent live remotes, and recordings.
Maintain clear communication with reporters, editors, the assignment desk, and anchors.
Update content on platforms as stories develop.
Work with producers to develop stories and create new content.
Create content for social media pages across multiple verticals.
Work with producers to fact-check copy, check audio quality, and ensure final products meet editorial and CMS requirements.
Assist with the editorial structuring of podcast content as needed.
