About The Position

The PMU team is seeking silicon validation engineers with a range of experience levels to perform post-silicon bring-up, debug, and validation of analog and power ICs for future Apple products. The role involves close collaboration with IC design and product design teams, recognizing the importance of interaction between pre-silicon design and post-silicon validation in delivering quality products.

The engineer will help define test plans for custom ICs and drive their execution from first silicon through mass production. The work spans custom board-level hardware for IC bring-up and testing, validation planning, and supporting product design teams with design integration and system-level debugging. The position also includes hands-on lab work, automation, performance analysis, and mentoring junior validation engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Three or more years of total experience in silicon validation, testing automation, board-level hardware design, or IC design.
• Strong bring-up and debugging skills, including hands-on laboratory work.
• Experience with complex test equipment setups for analog measurement.
• Proven experience debugging and analyzing the performance of analog circuits, voltage regulators, and power distribution for high-speed digital ICs.
• Strong software automation skills.
