About The Position

As a CACI SOFETOPS Personnel Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting strategically impactful operations by assisting the Personnel Manager with a diverse range of Personnel-management functions. You will coordinate onboarding and in-processing activities, staffing and resource profiling, reconciliation and reporting, employment verification, personnel tracking, data management, and support to a variety of monthly deliverables. This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment and can anticipate needs, manage multiple priorities, and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

  • University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and 7+ years of related work experience.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, MS Teams, and database systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a high-tempo environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution ability, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
  • Ability to achieve a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and managing all onboarding and in-processing activities with a focus on Personnel Development, Training, and Workforce planning and optimization.
  • Tracking the progress of all new employees, ensuring effective understanding of Performance Management.
  • Assisting with staffing and resource profiling for all new TDL/TDPs, emphasizing budget allocation and strategic planning and execution.
  • Validating all OASIS/ASTRO Labor Categories, SOC-IDs, and assigning Project Labor Categories (PLC) to new hires.
  • Conducting monthly reconciliation on all project staffing plans to ensure accurate reporting to the contract customer to achieve award fee milestones.
  • Submitting requests for employee in-processing validation, scheduling employees for SOFETOPS in-processing and New Hire Orientation to meet contract benchmarks.
  • Conducting I9 employment verification on all new hires, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Ensuring accurate personnel tracking with monthly reconciliation of all projects, focusing on Performance Management and accurate reporting to the customer.
  • Providing personnel staffing input for Program Management Review (PMR), Technical Status Meeting (TSM), Award Fee Self-Assessments, and CPARs, emphasizing strategic planning and execution.
  • Coordinating for New Hire IT requirements and logistics, focusing on budget allocation and fiscal responsibility.
  • Inputting new employee data into the tracking system and tracking progress of new employee SOFETOPS in-processing and company onboarding, emphasizing data accuracy and risk management.
  • Communicating to government TPOC the status/completion of new employee SOFETOPS in-processing and fielding all program Human Resources inquiries, focusing on stakeholder relationships and conflict resolution.
  • Attending all TDP Planning sessions, Kickoff meetings, SOFETOPS Staff meetings, and program and division growth meetings.
  • Mentoring and training all personnel on NEXUS of LCAT/SOC-ID/PLC and 362, with emphasis on accurate staffing and resource profiling.
  • Submitting monthly program Personnel Staffing deliverables, focusing on Performance Management and mentoring.
  • Authoring and sending individual welcome letters to all new hire personnel, ensuring clear expectations and responsive deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to manage day-to-day activities within the PMO.
  • Reduce employee turnover by maintaining a pulse on new hires and addressing their needs proactively and minimizing risk.
  • Work with Agency POCs to ensure new hires and sub-employees have the necessary mission accounts and access.
  • Liaison with Agency and sub contacts to monitor performance expectations and contributions.
  • Serve as a focal point for CACI leaders working off-site, helping them complete business processes and answer company actions promptly.
