Your role: This dynamic and challenging role sits at the intersection of the software and medical device industries and is a critical position within Baxter’s Care Communications Division. The Nurse Call Delivery Senior Manager, PMO reports to the Associate Director, Nurse Call PMO, and serves as a key internal leader within the Project Management Office. The role is responsible for leading a regional PMO team in alignment with the PMO roadmap, standardized processes, and revenue commitments. Core responsibilities include people leadership and team management to drive project execution and achieve organizational revenue goals. In addition, the Nurse Call Delivery Senior Manager, PMO partners closely with the PCoE to review and enhance PMO processes, remove implementation barriers, and ensure processes effectively support the team. This role is also accountable for budget development, direct and indirect staffing models, and tracking annual service line revenue.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Exceptional communication skills that deliver effective presentations with maximum impact with excellent oral presentation skills
  • Experience developing and implementing project management methodologies and standards.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Strong project management software skills (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Kantata, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the PCoE team to identify and address PMO process improvement opportunities, including barriers to revenue recognition and project execution
  • Provide leadership across the PMO by driving compliance, accountability, and serving as the primary escalation point for customer issues, resourcing constraints, and SOW/SOP variations
  • Measure, track, and coach Project Manager performance; manage regional PMO revenue risk and maintain forecast accuracy of 85% or higher
  • Collaborate with regional implementation and delivery leaders to align resource allocation with revenue and execution goals
  • Lead strategic and mid‑ to long‑term process improvement initiatives within the Nurse Call PMO to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Sales, Implementation, Delivery, and Product Marketing to ensure alignment on PMO processes and customer deployment strategies
  • Analyze customer purchasing, deployment trends, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, margin improvement, and revenue acceleration
  • Contribute to business and product strategy by acting as a Delivery SME, including support for new product deployments and vendor partner selection
