About The Position

The PMO Director at Yondr will lead the Project Management Office, overseeing a portfolio of hyperscale data center development projects across global regions. This executive role is pivotal in driving strategic alignment, standardizing project management practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of mission-critical infrastructure that supports high-performance computing, cloud services, and AI workloads. This position emphasizes scaling operations, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and optimizing processes to meet aggressive timelines and performance metrics in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The PMO Director will report directly to senior leadership and play a key role in enabling Yondr's growth as a leading hyperscale data center provider.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project or program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in hyperscale data centers, cloud computing, or IT operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale, complex, and geographically distributed construction projects with a portfolio value in the multi-billion dollar range.
  • Deep expertise in various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and an ability to adapt frameworks to the unique challenges of datacenter design and construction.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive results across diverse teams and a global organization.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, forecasting, and reporting on a portfolio level.

Nice To Haves

  • A PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or equivalent; familiarity with agile certifications like CSM (Certified Scrum Master) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and maintain a standardized global project management methodology, including tools, templates, and procedures, to ensure consistent and high-quality project delivery across all regions.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of a complex portfolio of hyperscale datacenter projects, from design and land acquisition to construction and commissioning, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project managers and PMO professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for the global portfolio, providing data-driven insights on project health, risks, and resource utilization to senior management.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and innovation within the PMO to increase project delivery speed and efficiency while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
  • Act as a central point of collaboration, working closely with engineering, construction, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless cross-functional communication.
