About The Position

The PMIC/QRTP Residential Direct Care role provides overnight safety, stability, supervision, and support for youth receiving residential treatment and services. The worker serves as a calm, dependable, and consistent adult presence during the overnight hours, helping maintain a safe and supportive environment. The job is based in the Cedar Rapids area, with opportunities also listed in Marion and Bertram for the STOP Program. The role is described as third shift and offers a third-shift pay differential. Travel is minimal, at less than 10%.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Desire to help kids succeed.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with children.
• A degree in Social Services or a related field.
